Recap about all methods. This past Tuesday 28th we had different presentations where our classmates and of course my team and I present each method with the SWOT of each, it was awesome because we can appreciate the own thoughts of each of us for the specific method we were presenting, after that we had a test, were unfortunately take me on disadvantage because i did not pay that much attention to each method  name, so i know i fail it but for my luck it prepare me for the test, so it really help me to memories and internalize about all topics experience this first period.

Community Language Learning

Imagen
What does it focus on? The community Language Learning is the only method that doesn't required any structure to work, and for structure I mean with an agenda where there are activities you must have to follow up with, this is known for work as a community like cluster or tribes where you can develop a fluent conversation and the corrections appear naturally with a non-threatening environment, this method is focused on the speaking and it works better with advanced learners.  During this class we were practicing the discussion of some topics like: Childhood Embarrassing moments Hobbies Goals Passions Achievements  Our group discuss about childhood memories where we can learn some vocabulary and we were able to employ some past tenses, it was really cool seeing the method at top with us and all out classmates, as we were clusters leaving the method work itself as the conversation flues naturally.

Suggestopedia

Imagen
What does it focus on? Suggestopedia method, is a way to learn in a relaxing, interesting and positive way, creating a good environment where the students feel pretty comfortable; It was proposed at 1970/1975 by George Lozanov he was a phycologist and physiatrist, who suggest the learning process is better at a relaxing environment. music, dynamics or create journeys.

Total Physical Response (TPR Method)

Imagen
What does it focus on? The total physical response method, it's a pretty dynamic and fun way to focus the students to learn easily the vocabulary by dynamics or song choreography's, as the movement of their body will explain or show the meaning or the name of the vocabulary they are learning it would be easier to memorize also it doesn't have a limit on age or students amount, unfortunately it couldn't be used for stronger explanations but vocabulary it's the best option to help them with the language, in my opinion  it's a perfect warm up for any class as it doesn't have an age limit students can start the class with emotion or you can catch their attention back with this method.

The Silent Way

Imagen
What does it focus on? The silent way method is more for visual learners as there is not so much participation from the teacher like for the teaching being explaining over and over again taking him the attention of the class, this method born for the mathematician Caleb Gatteno, he states that discovering by your own is more effective than teaching, as well the problem- solving method helps develop the understanding and the physical tools stimulate the learning process of the student, so basically this method focus on the to do activities from the students, and something really amazing that was present to us in this class were 'The Rods'   for me this is a super tool that for sure help visual learners to understand better topics from grammar, there were a couple of examples on the class and definitely it develops the imagination and helps students have a better idea and understanding of the topics: But of course, there are different techniques, as sound-color charts, and...

The Audiolingual Method

Imagen
What does it focus on? T he audiolingual method as his name propose it focus on the speaking and listening, leaving behind the grammar and reading, this method take my attention and keep in my mind the curious way it started, so back in the days, it was created by the Army, so it was easier to them to communicated during war, and that's why this method focus specifically in the oral communication, and it's why it develop listening and speaking skills, in my opinion it is a big advantage to the creative learnings it has a lot of chances to create fun activities that includes music students like, and present in a friendly way the language to the speakers, now the disadvantage is that the students may speak fluently and with no error correct pronunciation, they will communicate with no problem and they will understand and response easily but, they won't have an idea about the correct spelling of the words or at the time for the readings they may not recognized the word and wo...
