Total Physical Response (TPR Method)

Imagen
What does it focus on? The total physical response method, it's a pretty dynamic and fun way to focus the students to learn easily the vocabulary by dynamics or song choreography's, as the movement of their body will explain or show the meaning or the name of the vocabulary they are learning it would be easier to memorize also it doesn't have a limit on age or students amount, unfortunately it couldn't be used for stronger explanations but vocabulary it's the best option to help them with the language, in my opinion  it's a perfect warm up for any class as it doesn't have an age limit students can start the class with emotion or you can catch their attention back with this method.

The Silent Way

Imagen
What does it focus on? The silent way method is more for visual learners as there is not so much participation from the teacher like for the teaching being explaining over and over again taking him the attention of the class, this method born for the mathematician Caleb Gatteno, he states that discovering by your own is more effective than teaching, as well the problem- solving method helps develop the understanding and the physical tools stimulate the learning process of the student, so basically this method focus on the to do activities from the students, and something really amazing that was present to us in this class were 'The Rods'   for me this is a super tool that for sure help visual learners to understand better topics from grammar, there were a couple of examples on the class and definitely it develops the imagination and helps students have a better idea and understanding of the topics: But of course, there are different techniques, as sound-color charts, and...

The Audiolingual Method

Imagen
What does it focus on? T he audiolingual method as his name propose it focus on the speaking and listening, leaving behind the grammar and reading, this method take my attention and keep in my mind the curious way it started, so back in the days, it was created by the Army, so it was easier to them to communicated during war, and that's why this method focus specifically in the oral communication, and it's why it develop listening and speaking skills, in my opinion it is a big advantage to the creative learnings it has a lot of chances to create fun activities that includes music students like, and present in a friendly way the language to the speakers, now the disadvantage is that the students may speak fluently and with no error correct pronunciation, they will communicate with no problem and they will understand and response easily but, they won't have an idea about the correct spelling of the words or at the time for the readings they may not recognized the word and wo...

Fundamental Methods

Imagen
There are two fundamental methods for teaching English which are the followings: The Grammar Translation Method (TGTM) Este es el método más conocido al momento de enseñar inglés, básicamente se enfoca en enseñar la gramática del idioma al alumno y posteriormente traducir las frases del idioma madre al idioma por ensenar en este caso al idioma inglés, el fuerte de este método es que la gramática es el centro de todo por lo cual será la excelencia del alumno, por otro lado la pronunciación y el listening quedan en segundo plano ya que como antes se mencionó y el mismo nombre lo comenta es la gramática el centro de este método.  This was the method studying during our official second class, as well it was present to us the SWOT analyze method. basically, it's a way for us to find the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of each learning method.    The second fundamental method is: The Direct Method This method is pure target language it gives the chance to...

Imagen
Welcome to My English Didactics' Blog. Our First class was back on January 24th, we meet each other and talk about the polices for our class, also we set up a method of communication and agree to keep good communication for the development of the class, we also take a test where we were asking a couple of questions regarding this subject, the one that most catch my attention was when i asked myself if i would like to became a teacher, for several reasons this is my second time with this subject; and i find it amazing, i wait until February 20th to started so i can create this introduction, My whole life it was very hard to get myself explain, i found it difficult for people to understand what I'm trying to say, i catch and understand the thing really differently from others, so i never thought i would  be became a teacher, because i know it is hard for me to let others know about a topic, so going back 2022 the first time i had this subject, i convince myself i did not ...
